Rescues are places that are private and never kill their piggies. Try and find a local one. It's worth it to go a few extra miles to adopt a piggy pair. (or one if you already have one.)
Shelters
Shelters are places that are funded by the government (public) and only kill piggies if they are ill or they need more space. Please try and find a local one. Go the few extra miles to bring a new piggy home.
