Quarantine

You must wait for at least 2 weeks when you get a new pig to introduce them. By that time, any illness would of likely shown. You can then introduce them. If your pig shows illness, visit a vet immediately. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after handling the quarantined cavy.
